What are the participating countries entitled to the 15% discount on registration fees for Standard Chartered Bank cardholders?

Standard Chartered debit and credit cardholders from Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam can enjoy the 15% discount on registration fees.

Can various discounts be accumulated?

Discounts cannot be accumulated. Please use the discount with the highest value.

What am I entitled to as a Runner?

What is the minimum age requirement to participate in the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2024?

– A Runner must be 18 years and above as of 31 December 2024 to participate in the Marathon 42.195km.
– A Runner must be 16 years and above as of 31 December 2024 to participate in the Ekiden.
– A Runner must be 16 years and above as of 31 December 2024 to participate in the Half Marathon 21.1km.
– A Runner must be 14 years and above as of 31 December 2024 to participate in the 10km race.
– A Runner must be 10 years and above as of 31 December 2024 to participate in the 5km race.
– A Runner for the Singapore Masters Men’s or the Singapore Masters Women’s must be 35 years and above in Year 2024.
– Any Runner below the age of 18 as of 31 December 2024 is required to seek parental/guardian consent and complete the relevant indemnity and declaration forms when registering online or in-person, failing which IRONMAN reserves the right to refuse entry to that Runner.
– Runners for the Kids Dash must be between 0 – 12 years as of Year 2024.

Note to parents and guardians of Kids Dash Runners:
– For Runners aged 6 years and below as of Year 2024, it is compulsory for one parent or guardian to accompany the child during the race for safety purposes, failing which, the organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the Runner. An identical bib will be issued to the accompanying parent OR guardian

How do I know if I have successfully registered?

All registered Runners will receive a confirmation email and receipt upon successful registration to the email address used at time of registration.

I registered but did not receive my confirmation email and receipt.

Please allow up to 2 hours to receive your confirmation email. There are several reasons you may not have received your confirmation slip.

  • It could be in your spam/junk folder.
  • Registration was unsuccessful.
  • The email address entered at time of registration is incorrect.

Please email [email protected] providing the email address used at time of registration for the team to check on your registration status.

How can I make changes to my registration details after registering?

Please follow the steps below accordingly:

1. Go to Active My Events Portal: https://myevents.active.com/
2. Look for Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2024 Event
3. Click on ‘Edit registration’ to change the necessary details

You will not be able to change T-shirt or singlet size in My Events Portal. Please email [email protected] for assistance.

I have registered for the race but have injured myself or am unable to attend the race.

All race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events.

Can I transfer my race entry to someone else?

All race registrations are strictly non-transferable from person to person.

I have missed the registration deadline. Can I still join the race?

No. All registrations must be completed by Sunday, 24 November 2024, 11.59pm and all Runners must have a bib to enter the race course and venue.

How do I select my start pen?

This is a required field on the registration form. Please select your start pen based on the estimated time you take to complete the category that you are signing up for.

Can I change my race category after signing up?

Yes, category transfer is open between Monday 17 June 2024 – Friday 27 September 2024.

Please take note of the charges applied below:

  • Admin charge regardless of category upgrade or downgrade
  • Charges will be applied if a top up amount is required
  • The difference in pricing between the original registration and preferred running category will NOT be refunded.

Can I change my T-shirt/Singlet size?

T-Shirt/Singlet size can be changed up to Friday, 27 September 2024 subject to availability of the requested size. After this date, no changes in T-Shirt size will be accepted. Please select your t-shirt size appropriately during the registration process.

When is the last date to register?

Sunday, 24 November 2024, 11.59pm or unless sold out prior.

DOUBLE UP CHALLENGE

I have signed up for the Double Up Challenge (DUC), how many medals will I be receiving?

Upon completion of both race categories, you will be receiving 3 medals in total. 2 of the race category medals which you have signed up for, and 1 special DUC medal which you will collect after you have completed the race on Sunday, 1 December 2024.

Can I collect my race pack on Saturday since I have signed up for the Half Marathon 21.1km/Marathon 42.195km?

You will still be able to collect both race packs but pleae note that 5km and 10km race is on Saturday, 30 November 2024 and you will need to collect the race bib by Friday, 29 November 2024 in order to enter the race venue.

I have registered for two categories separately. Am I entitled to receive the Double Up Challenge medal if I complete both categories?

Runners who have signed up both categories separately are not entitled to the Double Up Challenge medal. Please sign up under the Double Up Challenge category.

How to register for the Elite Marathon Race?

Athletes holding World Athletics Gold Label or Platinum Label status, as well as elite athletes meeting the qualifying criteria, are invited to express their interest in participating in the SCSM2024 Elite Marathon (42.195km) by contacting us at [email protected].

Runners without World Athletics Platinum Label status or World Athletics Gold Label status must provide proof of achieving the following timing or better in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned marathon race within the qualifying window

Note: Not all qualifiers who submit their interest will be automatically accepted nor guaranteed entry into the event due to limited field size.

Who is eligible to compete in the National Championship categories?

Only Singaporeans athletes who meets the entry qualification timings and conditions are eligible to participate in the National Championship. Please find more information here.

How to register for the National Championship?

You must submit your identification document and show proof that you meet the entry qualification timings and conditions to [email protected] for verification in order to register.

For all carded National Athletes and recipients of the Singapore Athletics OCTC Grant, please contact Singapore Athletics High Performance representative for registration details.

Note: Not all eligible athletes who submit their documents will be automatically accepted nor guaranteed entry into the event due to limited field size.

Are National Championship athletes eligible for Elite Marathon prize money?

Yes, if they meet the Elite qualifying time of 2:20:00 for Male Athletes and 2:35:00 for Female Athletes within the qualifying window and finish in the overall podium and ranking. However, prize winners will only receive 1 prize money, whichever is higher.

Do the National Championship – Marathon athletes have access to the Elite Aid station?

Only MALE Singaporean athletes who show proof that they had achieved 2hrs 45min 00sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period, will have access to Elite Stations.

Only FEMALE Singaporean athletes who show proof that they had achieved 3hrs 15min 00sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period, will have access to Elite Stations.

All qualifying times submitted will be subject to review and verification.

PEN ALLOCATION

MARATHON – PEN A

Who can register for Marathon – Pen A?

All MALE Runners who show proof that they had achieved 3hrs 00min 00 sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period will remain in Marathon – Pen A. Otherwise, you will be allocated to the next available pen.

All FEMALE Runners who show proof that they had achieved 3hrs 30min 00 sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period will remain in Marathon – Pen A. Otherwise, you will be allocated to the next available pen.

Note: Not all qualifiers who submit their timing proof will be automatically accepted nor guaranteed entry into Marathon – Pen A due to limited capacity.

When is the registration period for Marathon – Pen A?

The registration period for Marathon – Pen A will be from 23 May 2024 to 31 October 2024 or based on capacity limit, whichever earlier.

What is the qualifying window period for Marathon – Pen A?

The qualifying window period for Marathon – Pen A will be from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.

Is there any prize money for the Marathon category?

There is the Elite Marathon and National Championship prize money.

Where do I submit timing proof for Marathon Pen A – verification?

Please submit your timing proof to [email protected] for verification. All qualifying times submitted will be subject to review and verification. Confirmation on the Marathon – Pen A allocation will be after 31 October 2024.

Will foreigner(s)/or PR(s) podium finishers in the Marathon category, receive the National Championship prize money?

No, only Singaporean athletes competing in the National Championship can win the prize money.

HALF MARATHON – PEN B

Who can register for Half Marathon – Pen B?

All ATHLETES who show proof that they had achieved 1hrs 45 min 00 sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Half Marathon race within the qualifying window period will remain in Pen B. Otherwise, you will be allocated to the next available pen.

All MALE Athletes can also submit their Marathon 42.195km timing. Timing proof for Marathon 42.195km must be 3hrs 00min 00 sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period, will remain in Half Marathon – Pen B. Otherwise, you will be allocated to the next available pen.

All FEMALE Athletes can also submit their Marathon 42.195km timing. Timing proof for Marathon 42.195km must be 3hrs 30min 00 sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned Marathon race within the qualifying window period, will remain in Half Marathon – Pen B. Otherwise, you will be allocated to the next available pen.

Note: Not all qualifiers who submit their timing proof will be automatically accepted nor guaranteed entry into Half Marathon – Pen B due to limited capacity.

When is the registration period for Half Marathon – Pen B?

Is there any prize money in the Half Marathon category?

There is only the National Championship prize money.

CORPORATE REGISTRATION

How can I register?

How to be eligible for Corporate registration?

A minimum of 10 entries regardless of category for the race through your company will be eligible for Corporate bulk purchase.

What are the modes of payment?

Bank Transfer or PayNow.

What categories are included in Corporate registration?

Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Ekiden

When will the Corporate Person in Charge (PIC) receive the registration links?

The individual registration unique links will be sent to you within 1-3 working days after payment has been received.

Can the Corporate PIC track who has registered?

Yes. Corporate PIC will receive the user guide on how to access the system backend, sent by IRONMAN staff along with the registration links once payment has been received.

Is bulk delivery available? What is the cost?

Only bulk delivery is available for companies who have purchased 50 entries and above. Delivery fee will be $582.17 nett.

What will happen to unutilized links?

Unutilized links will be deemed as forfeited and no refunds will be made. This applies even if the category is not sold out. Encourage your colleagues to sign up well in advance of the registration deadline.

When is the last date to register for corporates?

For companies who have opted in for Bulk Delivery, the last date to register to be included for delivery is Friday, 27 September 2024.

Those who have missed the deadline for Bulk Delivery can still register by Friday, 22 November 2024 however, will have to head down to Sands Expo & Convention Centre Hall F to collect their race pack.

How does a Corporate PIC add on entries?

The Corporate PIC can add on entries by following the steps below:

3. You will see Corporate Top Up Entries Purchase and indicate the no. of entries you would like to purchase accordingly

Once submitted, you will receive the invoice within the next 5-7 working days.

What is an iTab?

An iTAB is a small, personalized medal accessory that is engraved with your Name and Finish Time. It is designed to fit perfectly onto the ribbon of your medal, providing a unique way to celebrate and share your race day experience with this personalised memento for the event!

How much does an iTab cost?

iTab is charged at $22 before 8% Active fee

I have purchased the iTab. When will I receive it?

Your iTAB will arrive in the mail within 2 weeks of you claiming the iTAB on https://www.itab.us.com/.

How do i claim my iTAB?

You will receive an e-mail with the details and this link to redeem your credit and enter your finish time.

Once you have completed your race, you enter your finish time, confirm your details and your iTAB will be engraved and posted to you as normal.

Can I purchase an iTAB after the event?

Yes, you will be able to. The link will be provided post event for you to make a purchase.

SPORTOGRAF

What is Sportograf?

The Sportograf “Foto-Flat” brings back memories from your Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon experience. Get all your person images, as well as the race day impressions captured by our professional media tea. One package for you to share with the world. See you at the finish line!

Is there a Sportograf package available for Kids Dash?

The Sportograf package is only available for Marathon, Half Marathon, Ekiden, 10km and 5km categories only.

I have purchased the Sportograf package. When or how will I receive it?

You will receive a 100% discount code via email before the race. You can then search and download the images through Sportograf online shop without additional cost.

The code will be redeemed in the last step of the checkout and the price will reduce to $0 automatically.

I did not purchase the Sportograf package. May I purchase post-race?

Yes, you may purchase the photos directly from Sportograf online shop if you did not purchase it during registration.

EKIDEN

What is Ekiden?

Ekiden is a long-distance multi-stage race, where a team consists of 5 members, work together as a relay to complete the race. This is an independent race category under Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.

What is the distance for Ekiden?

The total distance will be the same as the Marathon distance of 42.195km.

Does each member run an equal distance?

The distances will be split differently between each Runner. The Race route will be released at a later date where the distance for each runner will be announced.

1st Runner – Est. 9.2KM

2nd Runner – Est. 8.4KM

3rd Runner – Est. 7.9KM

4th Runner – Est. 14 KM

Last Runner – Est. 2.695KM

Are Ekiden runners entitled to a finisher shirt?

Finisher shirts are given to Marathon Finishers only. Ekiden finisher entitlements will be released at a later date.

Can Ekiden member run more than once for the relay?

No. Each team member only selects 1 leg to run and it must be a complete team consisting of 5 members. Incomplete teams will not be allowed to participate.

I have registered for Ekiden and an individual category. Is this allowed?

Yes, if you have signed up for 5km or 10km but not the other categories.

What is the runner position for?

The runner position indicates the leg you will be running.

How do we indicate our runner position?

This is a required field question on our registration form.

When is the last date to change runner position?

Friday, 27 September 2024, 11.59pm

How can I change my runner position?

Please follow the steps below accordingly:

I am the Team Captain - Can I track my Team’s registrations?

You will not have access to view or change your team members’ details. Your team member has to login to My Events Portal to make any changes personally.

Where are the Changeover zone locations?

Each runner will be running a distance between 2.5KM to 14KM. The location of the Changeover Zones and the exact distance for each runner will be released at a later date.

How does Runner 2-5 get to the Changeover zone?

Shuttle service will be provided for Runner 2-5 between Start Point and your respective Changeover Zone. (Depending on distance away from Start Point) Shuttle service timing will be released at a later date.

Where does Runner 2-5 deposit and collect their items?

Each team are to deposit their bags as a team at the Start Point. There will not be any bag deposits at the Changeover Zones. They can collect their items after the race at the Finish Point.

Does Runner 2-5 have to report to the same location as Runner 1?

Runner 2-5 can choose to either take the free shuttle service from Start Point to their respective Changeover Zone, or to make your own way to the Changeover Zones by their own means of transport, before your teammate is expected at the Changeover Zones. Do take in consideration the road closures if you are arranging your own transport.

Does Runner 2-5 have to report at the F1 Pit building?

No. Runners 2-5 can choose to report at the F1 Pit Building or the Changeover Zones directly. Baggage deposit will be located at the F1 Pit Building.

Are there shuttle bus provided for Runner 2-5? What is the bus frequency and where will the shuttle bus location be at?

Yes. The shuttle bus schedule for Ekiden runners will be released at a later date.

Does Runner 1-4 have to stay throughout the event?

No. There will be shuttle bus to shuttle Runner 1-4 from the Changeover Zones to the Finish Point. They can wait and meet up with the last runner in their team at the Finish Point Ekiden Meeting Point after the race.

Where does Runner 1-4 collect their recovery items?

The last member/runner of the team will collect 5 medals on behalf of the team at the Finish Point Recovery Area.

RUN-CATION CONTEST

When is the Run-cation contest?

The contest starts on 4 June, 10:00am and ends on 13 October, 11:59pm.

How can I join the Run-cation contest?

To join the Run-cation contest, simply register for SCSM2024 with a Standard Chartered card.

What are the prizes of the Run-cation contest?

Winners of the contest draw will walk away will a pair of marathon race entries to a Standard Chartered Marathon event, with 2 round trip economy airfare and a 4D3N hotel stay in one of these four cities namely Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Hong Kong or Taipei.

Can I pass on the prizes to a family member?

Prize tickets are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.

I am 16 years old. Can I join the Run-cation contest?

To be eligible for the contest, you will need to be at least 21 years old at the time of entry.

I am a Singaporean, but currently living overseas. Am I eligible for the contest?

No. You need to be a Singapore resident to join the contest.

I have signed up for two categories at SCSM2024. How many chances (to the contest draw) do I get?

For every unique sign up, you will get 1 chance to the contest draw.

How will the winners be selected?

Four winners will be selected by random at the Singapore Marathon Expo on 28 November 2024.

Will the prize be forfeited if the winner is not present when the draw takes place at the Singapore Marathon Expo on 28 November?

If the selected winners are not present on the date of draw, they will be contacted via e-mail and must respond within five days. Otherwise, the organiser reserves all rights to forfeit or select another winner from the remaining eligible entries.

Can someone collect on my behalf?

What is the cut off time?

Marathon 42.195km & Ekiden: 7 hours 30 minutes

Please note there will also be intermediate cut-off times in place.

Where can I view the race route?

The Race route will be released at a later date.

Will I get race timing?

Yes, there is a timing chip attached to the bib for all categories except Kids Dash.

Is there a bag deposit and where can I deposit/retrieve my bag?

Yes. Bag deposit will be a paid service at $15 and you will need to purchase it during registration. You can deposit your bag at the Gear Bag Deposit Counters at the Start Venue and collect your bags at the Finish Venue.

Are there any requirements for bag deposit?

Yes. You must use the clear plastic official bag deposit bag provided to you at REPC, with your bag sticker applied to marked space on the bag. No personal bags will be accepted at bag deposit.

How do I know which pen I am in?

Your Pen letter printed beside your bib number indicates the pen that you are in. This is determined by your predicted finish time which you selected during the registration process.

What do I have to bring on race day?

All Runners are advised to travel light and must have their race bib in order to enter the race course. You must bring along the clear gear deposit bag if you have purchased it, when depositing your items.

How to get to the race venue?

You can get to the race venue via the shuttle service provided, taxis, private hire cars or you can choose to self-drive. However, you are encouraged to use the shuttle service to avoid delays in getting to the race venue.

Is there shuttle service available to get to the race venue?

Shuttle Service option will be available for purchase for (which day/date). More details on the shuttle tickets will be provided at a later date.

Are babies, baby strollers, prams or animals allowed on the race course?

Baby prams or strollers are not allowed into the race venue or course on 30 November and 1 December.

However, it is allowed for 0 – 3 years old category of the Kids Dash happening on 29th November.

What happens if I have yet to complete the race after the cut off mark?

You will not be entitled to a finisher medal, finisher tee-shirt (Marathon runners only) and a finisher time.

Will I get a finisher medal if I did not complete the run?

You will only receive a medal when you complete the run before the cut off time.

Will there be a refund if the race is called off due to bad weather?

No refund will be made if the race is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Can I walk instead of run?

Yes, you may walk to complete the race within the cut off timing stated.

How many water stations are there and what is the distance between each water station?

There will be a total of 20 Aid stations. Approximately around 2km to 2.5km apart.

What will be provided at the aid stations?

Do I register with my child or my own details on the registration form?

Please complete the registration form with your child’s details.

Do I have to register myself to accompany my child?

No, each Kids Dash entry includes 1 accompanying adult for the run.

Do I have to bring my child along to Race Entry Pack Collection?

No, this is not required for Kids Dash Runner.

0 – 9yrs: 600m

7 – 12yrs: 900m

What time does the Kids Dash event start?

Friday, 29 November 2024, 7pm onwards

What are the age groups for Kids Dash and how does it work? (0-12 years old)

0 – 3 years old
4 – 6 years old
7 – 9 years old
10 – 12 years old

They will be flagged off at different timings based on the age group they are in.

Is my few months old baby eligible to participate?

Yes. The age of participation is 0 – 12 years old as of 31 December 2024. Please note that baby prams or strollers are only allowed in the 0 – 3 years old category. You can also carry your baby during the run.

Will there be a bag deposit for Kids Dash?

There will be no bag deposit available for Kids Dash.

What must I bring to enter the Kids Dash event with my child?

You will receive a bib pack during the Race Entry Pack Collection which consists of 2 identical bibs. Both the child and parent are required to wear a bib each to participate.

Can both parents accompany 1 child?

Only 1 accompanying adult is allowed into the Kids Dash event with the child.

More than 1 of us is coming for the event with the child, is there a waiting area?

Other family members are to wait at the Athletes’ Village or the Spectators area and are not allowed to be at the start pen or on the running course.

My child is 6 years old. Must I accompany my child for the run?

Yes. It is compulsory to accompany your child who is aged 6 and below during the event.

My child is above 6 years old, must I accompany my child for the run?

No. They can run without the companion of the parent/guardian. However, you are still welcome to join them.

I have registered for 2 children, can both parents join together?

Yes. As you have registered for 2 children, it means that 2 accompanying adults can accompany each of them.

Can both of my children run together?

Yes, they can. If they happen to be in different age groups, the older child can join the younger age group. However, the younger child cannot move to the older age group.

Are refreshments provided?

There will be drinks provided at the Athlete Village before their race starts and in the Recovery Area after they cross the Finish Line.

Are there shuttle bus provided for Kids Dash?

No shuttle bus will be provided to the event venue

How to get to the Kids Dash Venue?

You can get to the event venue via MRT, public buses, taxis, private hire cars or you can choose to self-drive your child.

300KM Club

What is the 300km club and how can I be part of it?

300km Club refers to those who have accumulated a total distance of 300km since 2010 at SCSM events. The race category that you have registered for represents the distance that will be cumulated. As long as you complete a total of 300km, you will be part of the 300km Club.

Do I have to run consecutive years to be part of the 300km club?

No, you do not have to. It is an accumulation of the distance you have completed.

What benefits does the 300km club get?

300km Club runners will gain exclusive access to our 24-hour pre-launch sale. More details to be revealed.

What if I have accumulated a total of 295km since 2010?

You will be eligible to be inducted into the 300km Club when you register for a 10km race category and above.

I have participated in SCSM Grand Finale event between 2020 and 2021. Will the distance be taken into account?

Yes, participation in both SCSM2020 and SCSM2021 Virtual and Physical Grand Finale events will contribute to your 300km Club distance.

What are SCSM Training Runs?

Together with Running Department, we are organizing 8 training programs leading up to SCSM2024. These weekly running sessions are led by a group of trained pacers who share the same passion for running. Gearing up for SCSM2024, SCSM Training Runs allow runners to come together to train and run without any commitment.
