Singapore Marathon

ABOUT

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon was first recognised as a Gold Label event by the World Athletics in 2012 for its world-class excellence in global sporting significance, organisational quality, as well as athletes’ safety and compliance with the World Athletics’ rules and regulations.

This year, SCSM will see the return of the International Elite Race which will feature some of the world’s top long-distance runners, as well as top Singaporeans vying for the honour of being crowned national champion with the return of the National Championships. 

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
(MARATHON 42.195KM)

Gold Label Elites - Entry Qualification (Elite Marathon 42.195km Men)

Elite Marathon Men
  • World Athletics Gold Label status athletes, World Athletics Platinum Label status athletes & elite athletes (who meet the qualifying timing) can register their interest to participate SCSM2023 Elite Marathon 42.195km via this email address: [email protected]

  • Registration period for the SCSM2023 Elite Marathon 42.195km will be from 27 April 2023 to 31 October 2023

  • The qualifying window for SCSM2023 Elite Marathon 42.195km will be from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023​

  • Non-World Athletics Gold Label status athletes or World Athletics Platinum Label status athletes will be required to show proof that they had achieved 2hrs 15min 00sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation sanctioned marathon race within the qualifying window period

  • Any timed event not sanctioned by World Athletics or National Federations will not be accepted

  • ​The field size for SCSM2023 Elite Marathon 42.195km is limited to 25 men athletes only

  • Not all qualifiers who submit their registration will be automatically accepted nor guaranteed entry into the event due to field size limit

  • Only selected 25 qualifiers or less will be selected to race in the SCSM2023 Elite Marathon 42.195km

  • All qualifying times submitted will be subject to review and verification
